SONILS AND SONANGOL OPEN SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MULENVOS

SONILS and Sonangol inaugurated Primary and Secondary School Complex No. 10027 in the municipality of Mulenvos. The infrastructure was built from scratch and aims to reinforce both institutions’ commitment to social development and the promotion of education in Angola.

Construction began in June 2025, and the infrastructure was built on a total area of 4,550 m2, with 20 classrooms, an administrative block, a first aid room, and a multipurpose court. The project also includes all equipment, from furniture to support infrastructure essential to the school’s operation, ensuring better teaching and learning conditions.

This initiative is also part of a series of actions marking Sonangol’s 50th anniversary, a milestone that symbolizes five decades of contribution to the country’s economic and social development.

With this new infrastructure, it is hoped that teaching conditions in the community will be significantly improved, allowing more children to have access to an educational environment that is safe and conducive to academic development.

SONILS and Sonangol thus reaffirm their commitment to social responsibility and the sustainable development of communities, recognizing education as one of the fundamental pillars for Angola’s progress.
