SONILS, REAFFIRMS ITS COMMITMENT TO THE BOAVISTA COMMUNITY IN ORDER TO SENSITISE THE BOAVISTA COMMUNITY AND ITS EMPLOYEES, FOR THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF MALARIA, SONILS LAUNCHED THE CAMPAIGN:

“EVERYONE IN THE MALARIA BAT”

In allusion to the World Day to Combat Malaria, celebrated on April 25, SONILS within the scope of its Social Responsibility and in partnership with the Doctors’ Club, carried out several activities, namely: Door-to-door Awareness Campaign, Free Malaria Screening, Distribution of Mosquito Nets, General Clinic Consultations, Genecology and Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Infectious Diseases, Internal Medicine, having attended more than 680 users on site. On the same path, a Lecture was held for SONILS employees.

The main objective of the activity was to develop actions for the prevention and control of Malaria, in order to sensitize the community and employees to the adoption of healthy lifestyles, through the promotion of health education, thus contributing to the reduction of the high rate of cases of the disease within the community.

Volunteer collaborators of SONILS were present, headed by Anídio Lende, Director of Information and Communication Technologies, as well as members of the local community, Paulo Furtado, Administrator of the Urban District of Ingombota, Jacinto Guedes, Municipal Director of Health of Luanda, Mateus Miguel, President of the Residents Commission and Germano Tchitumba representative of the Administration of Patrice Lumumba.
